WCBS Resumes Reagent Production
After about a 16-month long hiatus, the Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is delighted to have received the licence from the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) to resume reagent production.
The reagents are manufactured for internal use in WCBS laboratories as well as affordably supplied to pathology testing laboratories.
The production schedule is on track for monthly batch releases, starting October.
Customers outside South Africa should take note that reagents are duty free; the tariff heading is 3822.00/2 and customs code is 253875 – an International Trade and Administration Commission (ITAC) permit is not required.
