For various reasons, blood stock levels in the Western Cape tend to decline during the festive season. One such reason could be that regular blood donors go on holiday and perhaps do not attend their blood donation clinic.
To assist us in maintaining sufficient blood stock levels, we are hosting a few extra marketing activations at our fixed blood donation centres. From Friday, 16 December 2022, until Monday, 16 January 2023, we will give each donor that successfully donates a unit of blood a yummy Ola ice cream. Not only will you save up to 3 lives but you’ll have a cool experience doing so.
We also have an exciting blood donor competition that will run over the same period.
How do you enter?
One lucky winner from each fixed site will win the coolest cooler box ever! So, head on over to any of our fixed blood donation centres. 4 of them are conveniently situated in big shopping malls close to you. Find us at Blue Route Mall, Kenilworth Centre, N1 City Mall and Capegate Shopping Centre. If you find yourself closer to our regional branches, you can donate every Thursday at the Toringkerk in Paarl, or every Tuesday and Friday at our regional branch in Worcester or every Wednesday and Friday at our regional branch in George. All donors who successfully donate a unit of blood will also receive a limited-edition SPF50 sunscreen as a token of appreciation. This will be distributed at all our blood donation clinics. This is while stocks last, so be sure not to miss out!
