Donate Blood on Saturday – 12 April 2025
In a united effort to address the growing demand for blood, the Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS), in partnership with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), is urging South Africans to become new blood donors and donate blood on Saturday, 12 April 2025, from 09:00 to 16:00.
As the need for blood continues to rise, we are particularly focused on recruiting new donors to help ensure blood supplies are well-stocked for the busy Easter period and the upcoming colder winter months. Blood donations traditionally drop during winter, and increasing reserves now is essential to prevent shortages during this critical time.
