The 37th SANBTC which was held in Boksburg 25 – 28 August 2025, was hugely successful, having afforded over 400 delegates from just shy of 20 countries, an opportunity to exchange knowledge, present their research and foster meaningful collaborations in the field of transfusion medicine. WCBS itself was well-represented, having contributed over 30 talks/presentations, emphasising its role in shaping the future of transfusion medicine and donor recruitment in the country.
