WCBS staff proudly joined in the fun on Shades Day to support the South African Guide Dogs Association, raising awareness and funds for the organisation.
Shades Day is a national fundraising campaign that is held every year during October, Eye Care Awareness Month. By buying a R20 sticker and wearing their coolest sunglasses on 17 October, WCBS staff helped raise R1060.
The South African Guide Dogs Association is a non-profit organisation that has been providing independence to people with disabilities for over 70 years. Their mission is to enhance the lives and provide independence to the visually and physically impaired as well as children with autism.
