The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) is going solar as part of its commitment to a greener future. The solar installation was started last year and is expected to generate sufficient energy for all operations at the Service’s new headquarters in Ndabeni and Worcester regional branch.

The switch to solar energy is not only expected to reduce WCBS’s carbon footprint but will also go a long way as part of future-proofing the Service for the next 20 years.

Watch this space for greener future updates.
