We had an opportunity to honour and extend gratitude to our stakeholders who are at the forefront of rallying the public to our blood donation clinics in the communities we serve. As a token of appreciation, we treated them to a small breakfast event on 1 December 2023, where they were awarded in their respective categories for the remarkable work they diligently do.

It takes a village to do the work that we do, and we lean on our heroes to spread the word about blood donation, be it in shopping malls, places of work, schools and radio stations. We appreciate your efforts and using your voice to help save lives.

A special congratulations to Outeniqua High School in George who celebrates their 100th birthday this year. In celebration, they challenged themselves and set a goal to average a total attendance of 100 donors at each clinic. With the leadership of the donor representative, they successfully achieved their 100-donor attendance. In 2023, the school has collected 370 units of blood and welcomed 75 new blood donors.

Congratulations to all our winners. You are truly remarkable!
